The deadline for 2025 Ambassador applications was October 31, 2024. Thank you to everyone who applied! We will send out submission status notifications via email during the week of November 4th.

Hey there, Cleveland enthusiasts! Do you absolutely adore the Land? Are you the kind of person who can't stop talking about your love for running with your awesome family, fantastic friends, and devoted followers? 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ And let's not forget, are you all over social media, sharing your running adventures with the world?

Well, guess what? We've got some exciting news just for you! We're on the hunt for the most passionate Cleveland Marathon Ambassadors for 2025, and we think you might be the perfect fit!

Program Requirements

  • Participate in the 2025 Cleveland Marathon – distance of your choice.
  • Promote the Cleveland Marathon across your social media channels and throughout your local community.
  • Provide race weekend support, including fulfilling a volunteer shift.
  • Help to relay information and updates from the Cleveland Marathon across your social media channels.
  • Answer basic questions from friends and followers regarding the Cleveland Marathon.
  • Repost content shared by the Cleveland Marathon to boost engagement.
  • Share at least (2) posts monthly across your social media channels related to the Cleveland Marathon - Topics can include, but are not limited to: Registering for your desired race distance, updates related to your training, favorite memories from the Cleveland Marathon, pre-race rituals, race day routine, etc.
  • Participate in an ‘Instagram Takeover’ of the Cleveland Marathon Instagram account for 24 hours.
  • Share a post-race recap across your social media channels within 48 hours of race weekend.
  • Share the official Cleveland Marathon ambassador badge on your social media channels.
  • Help to distribute race materials throughout your local community – running stores, fitness studios, expos, etc.

  • 1 complimentary race entry for the event of your choice – challenge series included.
  • 1 complimentary race entry to be used for a giveaway hosted on your social media channels – winner can select distance of choice, challenge series included.
  • Official ambassador swag.
  • Profile featured on the Cleveland Marathon website.
  • Official ambassador spotlight – your profile will be blasted across the Cleveland Marathon social media channels.
  • Access to a private ambassador Facebook group for information and discussions with race staff.
  • Exclusive invitations to ambassador meet-ups.
  • Invitation to the Cleveland Marathon VIP reception and brunch on race weekend.
